Sandra Webb has worked with children and families since her graduation from the University of Guelph in 1974 (Child Studies). Working for the Northumberland Children's Aid Society gave Sandra a base in Child Welfare. Sandra began working in private adoption in 1979 and continues to be an Adoption Practitioner approved by the Ministry of Youth and Children.
Sandra has been in private practice for 20 years and set up an office in 1995. At that time Sandra's practice was called Focus on Family and is now called Sandra Webb Counselling. The children, families and adults who Sandra has met in her office have taught her what she needed to learn in order to help them heal and grow.
Sandra is committed to creating a professional setting for herself and others. One of the ways that she has done this is by bringing world renowned trainers to Cobourg including Gisela Schubach De Domenico, Dr. Art Becker-Weidman and Dr. Daniel A. Hughes. Sandra has also shared her knowledge by doing workshops and presentations in Canada, U.S. and Ireland.
Sandra believes that we as professionals must continue to add to our knowledge base and share our knowldege with others by participating in professional and business organizations.
