Russia - 10 day trip with personnel from Mission of Tears, Toronto, ON (international adoption agency), Pat Fenton, Toronto, On (director of Adoption Council of Ontario and an adoption practitioner), Arlene Klie, Windsor, ON (adoption practitioner). We met with staff from the Ministry of Education in Moscow and Ivanova, as well as judges and prosecutors in Ivanova. We visited orphanages in Moscow, Ivanova, Shuya and St. Petersburg.

Russia - business trip, international adoption conference in Moscow with Great Britain, Estonia, Quebec and Ontario, presentations by the Quebec government officials in different areas of Russia, visits to orphanages of varying ages in different parts of Russia, meetings with government officials, education officials, judges, visited the International Medical Centre, Moscow, tour of Moscow and St. Petersburg etc. Went through the adoption process with a family from Quebec i.e. met them at the airport, took them to see their child at the orphanage, to court the next day, spent the week with them and then flew home to Montreal with them.
